Rennes host OFI Crete after disappointing European start

Stade Rennais host OFI Crete at Roazhon Park on Thursday, October 15 at 9 p.m. in the 2nd round of the Europa League. After a disappointing opening European match, Rennes go into the fixture needing a response. The match will be shown live and exclusively on Canal Foot, the competition’s official broadcaster.
In the 1st round, Rennes drew 0-0 with Sturm Graz. Short of inspiration and effectiveness in the final third, they could not find a way through. The challenge is all the greater because OFI Crete sprang a surprise by beating Hoffenheim 2-0 in their opening match.
That attacking efficiency is a reason for Rennes to be cautious: failing to counter it could bring another European disappointment in front of their home crowd. Kick-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. at Roazhon Park.
Access to Canal Foot requires the Canal Sport package, priced at 29.99 euros per month for one year, then 39.99 euros per month, with a two-year commitment. The subscription also includes the Europa League, Champions League, Europa Conference League, Premier League, Top 14 and Formula 1.
