AC Milan beat RB Salzburg 4-0 in the Europa League, with Alphadjo Cisse at the heart of the victory. His three goals made him the youngest Italian player to score a hat-trick in a European club competition match. Despite the landmark performance, he stressed that the team’s success mattered more than individual recognition.
The result also helped the club recover from defeat in its opening European match. Cisse’s display gives Amorim an additional attacking option.
Cisse also spoke about the importance of trust for young Italian players and the wider generation hoping to make an impact. He praised his connection with Davide Bartesaghi, whose assist helped create one of the goals, and said he was confident Francesco Camarda would soon find the net.
The hat-trick was a personal milestone for Cisse, but he did not want it to define his evening. Asked whether the performance could earn him a regular starting place, he resisted being tied to one position. He said he would give his best whether playing as a number nine or an attacking midfielder.
The young forward acknowledged that few people would have expected such a breakthrough at the start of the season. He pointed to the hard work that had brought him to this point, while keeping the team result ahead of his individual achievement.
