Mbappé’s departure from Nike could bring Michael Olise a boost worth several million euros. The brand has reached a sponsorship agreement with the Bayern Munich winger, intending to make him one of the leading faces of its football boot range. By signing Olise, Nike is looking to fill the gap left by Kylian Mbappé, now presented as a star of Real Madrid.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed, but AS reported, citing Footy Headlines, that it was worth several million euros. Mbappé recently left Nike to join the Swiss company On, giving Olise’s arrival at the sportswear brand added significance.

The partnership also marks a change for the French player. Until now, Olise had turned down offers from major brands to retain the freedom to choose his boots. Nike’s plans could extend beyond a standard commercial deal: the brand is expected to relaunch the Hypervenom range in 2027, with Olise as the campaign’s leading star, while production of the Phantom range is set to end.
