Tawfik BenTayeb is settling quickly into life at Anderlecht

Tawfik BenTayeb is settling quickly into the atmosphere at Anderlecht. The Moroccan international says he is pleased with the environment at the Belgian club, which he joined during the last summer transfer window. The welcome from the players and coaching staff helped him find his feet in a new setting.

His teammates greeted him warmly when he arrived in Brussels, he explained, making it easier to integrate into the group. He is also pleased with his first steps with the team: the club’s style of play suits his technical qualities and gives him the chance to showcase his attacking ability.

Ali Maamar also helped make his arrival easier. The Moroccan player took the initiative to contact him before he reached the club’s training centre, sending him a welcome message on Instagram.

Anderlecht’s forward also spoke about his attachment to Morocco. He described his first experience with the national team as a childhood dream come true, bringing a sense of pride to both him and his family.

Now in Belgium, BenTayeb says he wants to stay in regular contact with his family and friends in Morocco. He hopes to continue adapting to the Belgian league, get more opportunities to display his attacking qualities and contribute to Anderlecht’s results in upcoming matches.
