After a historic achievement with Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham has set his sights on Europe. The England midfielder made his 150th appearance for the club in the match against Roma in the Champions League. After the game, he was honoured at Real Madrid’s sports centre and presented with a commemorative shirt bearing the number 150.
In remarks reported by Mundo Deportivo, Bellingham spoke of his pride and happiness: “I’m very happy and proud; it’s always a pleasure for me to play for this club, and I hope that continues for many years to come.” He also stressed what the club means to him: “Real Madrid means a lot to me because it’s the biggest club in the world. It’s a huge honour to play here and reach 150 matches.”
On his role in the team, he said: “I’m 23, so if I’m an experienced player… I enjoy playing my role in the team, and I hope we can improve and win trophies.” Bellingham also acknowledged that some matches are more difficult, while noting that the team had won most of them. “We have to keep working, improving and winning the next games,” he added.
Since joining Real Madrid, Bellingham has established himself among the game’s most prominent midfielders, and the 150-match milestone marks another step in his journey with the club.
