Inter, AC Milan and Juventus enquire about Diogo Dalot
By SportNestra Editorial Team

Inter, AC Milan and Juventus have made enquiries about Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot. The three Italian clubs are assessing options for their defensive positions, but their interest has not led to a concrete transfer proposal. Dalot remains under contract with his club until the summer of 2028.
The Italian press reports that the enquiries are still at an exploratory stage. Inter, AC Milan and Juventus are monitoring the player’s situation rather than pursuing a confirmed deal. A possible contract extension could affect what happens next: if no agreement is reached, the time remaining on his deal could give interested clubs an opportunity to explore a move in a future transfer window.
The interest comes as Manchester United’s difficult start has brought increased scrutiny on the squad. Even so, Dalot’s departure cannot be taken for granted: his importance to the club makes that outcome uncertain. The Italian press reports that Manchester United regard him as an important player and would prefer not to lose him.
Last season, Dalot made 34 Premier League appearances, scoring once and providing three assists, as Manchester United finished third. His time with AC Milan may make another move to Italy attractive. Any transfer would nevertheless depend on several factors, including Manchester United’s stance, the player’s preferences and the financial terms.
Inter lead Serie A with 19 points after seven matches, while Milan are fourth on 15 points. Inter are four points ahead. Both teams remain unbeaten after seven league games: Inter have six wins and one draw, with 21 goals scored and nine conceded; Milan have four wins and three draws, scoring 14 and conceding seven. Across their five most recent league matches, Inter have four wins and a draw, while Milan have two wins and three draws. The Italian clubs’ interest remains preliminary, and Dalot’s contract situation as well as Manchester United’s season could shape how it develops in the coming months.
