Vinicius Jr. mocked on social media after Australia incident

Social media cannot believe it: some users feel Vinicius Jr. has “forgotten how to play football”. The Brazilian forward is going through a difficult sporting period, a situation he would be aware of and which an increasing number of observers would be noticing.

An action produced on Friday against Australia particularly fuelled the online ridicule. The match was only a friendly for Ancelotti’s side.

The reactions on X, formerly Twitter, were swift. Among the comments noted were: “Vinicius has forgotten how to play football”, “Vinicius has unlearned how to play football” and “It is frightening to see the state Vinicius is in after his contract extension.”

The episode comes after the forward extended his Real Madrid contract on 6 August until 2032. Things are not going well for him in the white shirt either: he would be booed in every match, not only by opposing supporters but also by his own fans.
