Parrott and Abde wrap up international duties on Sunday

Troy Parrott and Ez Abde conclude their international commitments with Ireland and Morocco on Sunday. Parrott faces Israel in Serbia at 20:45, while Abde plays a friendly against Mali in Tangier at 21:00. The match replaced the fixture that had originally been scheduled against Ghana.

The games come as the international schedule for Real Betis players enters its final stretch. Álvaro Fidalgo and Valentín Gómez had already been involved in Saturday’s fixtures. The Mexican played the final 25 minutes for the Tri, who lost 3-0 to the United States. Argentine defender Valentín Gómez, meanwhile, was left out by Lionel Scaloni for the Albiceleste’s 7-0 win over Burkina Faso.

Gómez remains with the squad and is due to have another opportunity on Tuesday against Benin at the Monumental, in a match billed as Leo Messi’s farewell to the Argentina national team. Giovani Lo Celso is also expected to feature.

Álvaro Fidalgo is due back in action with Mexico against Chile on Tuesday night, in the early hours of Wednesday at 03:00. For Parrott and Abde, Sunday’s fixtures bring the international commitments covered here to a close.
