After the break, Alavés will host Atlético de Madrid, coached by Diego Pablo Simeone, at Mendizorroza. Koski’s injury comes ahead of that fixture as the team prepares for the resumption of the league campaign.
A return timeline has not yet been set. « Deportivo Alavés’ medical staff will assess the injury and determine the recovery period based on the player’s progress », the club said. The length of his absence will therefore depend on his recovery and the medical assessment.
