In October, Barça puts Europe on notice and dominates Liga F

Champions in October, with Europe on alert: Pere Romeu’s Barça made a major impact in the space of four days, delivering a standout performance in Rome and a commanding display in Liga F, with October only just beginning.

After six matchdays, the Barcelona side is five points clear of Real Madrid, seen as its main challenger. But neither the gap in the table nor the goal average alone explains why the title already appears almost decided: the head-to-head meeting made the strongest impression. Barça showed overwhelming superiority.

Pau Quesada’s Real Madrid is not as far behind as the other Spanish teams, but Barça has no rival in Spain, and yesterday’s meeting offered another demonstration of that.

The crowd saw it at Spotify Camp Nou. Despite torrential rain that had battered the stadium just hours earlier, the pitch was immaculate and fit for a World Cup final.
