Fabricio Duarte will referee the first leg between Académie Amadou Diallo and Club sportif sfaxien in the second preliminary round of the Confederation Cup. The Confederation of African Football appointed the Cape Verdean for the match, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 17 at 17:00 at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Stadium.
Duarte’s officiating team will also include his compatriot Delgado Jorge and Mamadou Dounso of Guinea-Bissau. The appointments identify the officials for the opening match of the two-leg encounter.
The continental governing body has also named the referee for the return. That match is set for Saturday, October 24 at 18:00 at Taïeb-Mhiri Stadium in Sfax, with Mauritanian referee Abdel Aziz Bouh in charge. His compatriots Ibrahim Hamidou and Youssef Mahmoud will serve as assistants.
Both second preliminary-round fixtures now have their refereeing teams: Duarte for the first leg, followed by Bouh for the return in Sfax.
