Hamza Abdelkarim’s value rises to €8 million in four months

Hamza Abdelkarim’s value has surged over four months, reaching €8 million from €1.5 million in June 2026. The 18-year-old Egyptian forward’s valuation is up 433%, according to the figures in Transfermarkt’s latest update on Monday, October 5, 2026.

The rise comes amid a period of significant change. In the summer of 2026, Abdelkarim moved from Al Ahly Egypt to Barcelona. He was subsequently called up to the Egyptian national team’s senior squad for the 2026 World Cup, under Hossam Hassan. Barcelona has also extended his contract until June 30, 2030.

His early record in La Liga remains modest: during the 2026-2027 season, Abdelkarim made one appearance without scoring or providing an assist. He is still at the beginning of his journey with Hans Flick’s team. His valuation has therefore climbed sharply in the market, while his top-level experience with Barcelona remains limited.
