Niko Ilicevic, 15, attracting interest from several European giants

At 15, Niko Ilicevic is attracting attention from major European clubs. The Eintracht Frankfurt youngster is being monitored by Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern de Múnich, AC Milan and Inter. He is regarded as one of the German club’s promising young players and continues his development there. His contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs until 2029.

Reports from Germany say Ilicevic was born on 31 October 2010 and that his current agreement runs through June 2029. The club is looking to provide him with further protection: he was already playing at under-17 level at 13, before moving to the under-19s at 14.

Eintracht also plans to create a pathway for him into its first team. Ilicevic is a Germany under-17 international; as 31 October approaches, when he turns 16, his agreement is due to become a professional contract. He currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt II.

His record already includes a notable milestone: in 2025, a goal against Barcelona made him the fourth-youngest scorer in UEFA Youth League history. He joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018 from VfR Goldbach.
