FootballBartra rejoins the group and eases Betis’ defensive concerns
Marc Bartra completed a full training session on Wednesday after his discomfort at Riazor. His expected availability this weekend would give Pellegrini more room to rotate.

Las Palmas has been fined over the insult “eres un subnormal” directed at a Valladolid player. On Wednesday, the disciplinary body chose to fine the club because its match delegate did not hold a licence. He was therefore not allowed to be in the players’ tunnel and did not have the disciplinary authority to punish the person responsible for the insult.
The incident took place at half-time in the match between Las Palmas and Valladolid at the Estadio de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In his report, referee Manuel Ángel Pérez Hernández said that after the first half had ended, José Manuel Cabrera Guedes, identified by the local delegate as a club analyst, addressed a player and repeated: “Eres un subnormal, eres un subnormal.”
The sanction is based on Article 133 of the Código Disciplinario, which concerns failure to comply with orders, instructions, agreements or regulatory obligations. The provision classifies the offence as minor unless it falls into a serious or very serious category. Depending on the disciplinary body’s decision, it allows for a fine of up to 602 euros, disqualification or suspension for up to two months or for at least two matches, or closure of the stadium for no more than one match.
