Arsenal are aiming to close the gap on City as the Premier League resumes. The champions host Leeds, listed in fifth place, while Tottenham travel to Manchester United for the late fixture. The matches are part of a six-game league programme, with team news also due in the live coverage.
Arsenal-Leeds kicks off at 12.30pm BST. The visitors have plenty at stake too: a win at the Emirates would take them above Arsenal. Leeds are expected to be a difficult side for the Gunners to break down.
Manchester United, described as struggling, host Tottenham, presented as in even worse shape and bottom of the table. That match is scheduled for 5.30pm.
The league returns after the international break. The day’s schedule also includes Ipswich-Fulham at Portman Road. Arsenal therefore begin this fixture with a clear target in their pursuit of City, but Leeds have the chance to benefit from the meeting as well.
