Fifteen players feature on the absentees list ahead of Manchester United-Tottenham. The teams are due to meet at Old Trafford on Saturday in the Premier League, with an injury wave potentially leaving around 15 players unavailable for the fixture.
Roberto De Zerbi said Jan Paul van Hecke and Micky van de Ven would be available and could start. The Tottenham manager also reported a training setback for James Maddison, leaving his involvement in doubt.
For Manchester United, Michael Carrick said Patrick would probably be out for several weeks. He also noted that Mazraoui, who came off after taking a knock, was not yet in ideal condition. “Amad, Marcus and Kobbie have all done some training,” he added, noting that “the situation varies a little from one member of the group to another.”
Carrick also reported an improvement in Carlos Baleba’s condition and said he had trained a lot. Fitness levels therefore remain mixed ahead of the match, United’s first fixture after the long international break.
