Milan is preparing two major moves for the winter transfer window, though no deal is reported as completed. The Italian club intends to strengthen its squad and regain a place among Europe’s leading sides after receiving a fresh financial injection to support its ambitions.
Information attributed to Foot Mercato says Gerry Cardinale, Milan’s owner, put 50 million euros into the club’s accounts. The funds are intended to bolster its financial capacity and accelerate the project of returning to the highest level.
On the sporting side, Real Madrid forward Endrick and Sporting Lisbon defender Gonçalo Inácio are named among the leading options under consideration. A move for the young Brazilian could take the form of a loan, as he seeks more playing time. Inácio, meanwhile, was already linked with Milan last summer. Signing him could require a substantial investment, leaving the club’s leadership to balance its sporting ambitions against financial constraints.
Milan spent around 160 million euros in the summer transfer window and sits fifth in the Italian league. The club wants to keep strengthening its squad and return regularly to the Champions League. Those aims also sit alongside plans to develop the San Siro stadium and strengthen Milan’s presence in Europe.
