Ali Mahmoud is among the players left out by Al Ahly for its match against Zamalek. The first-team coaching staff announced the substitutes and those who will not feature in the game, scheduled for Cairo International Stadium on matchday six of the Egyptian Premier League.
Five players are on the list of those left out: Hamza Alaa, Mohamed Abdullah, Oktay Abdullah, Ali Mahmoud and Omar Moawad. The selection follows the list announced before the match began.
Al Ahly will have several players on the bench whom the coaching staff intends to rely on if needed during the game. The club is seeking a positive result against its traditional rival in a contest drawing considerable attention from the public and the media because of the teams’ historic rivalry.
Al Ahly is also counting on the players available among its substitutes to make changes during the match if required. The team hopes to put in a strong performance against Zamalek and claim all three points in its league campaign.
