Al-Shabab beat Al-Taawoun 3-0 in the Roshn League despite finishing the match with ten players. The first win of their Roshn Saudi Pro League season came after the eighth round at the club’s stadium in Riyadh, lifting Al-Shabab to 12th place with 7 points. Al-Taawoun remain 17th on 3 points.

The turning point came in the 33rd minute of the first half, when Al-Shabab defender Ali Al-Bulaihi was sent off following a forceful challenge on Al-Taawoun player Mohammed Al-Kuwikibi’s foot. Al-Shabab had to continue with ten men.

Al-Shabab held on to their advantage, and captain Yannick Carrasco sealed the score in the 85th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. Goalkeeper Mory Diaw also helped secure the win, keeping out several dangerous Al-Taawoun attempts to preserve his clean sheet.

The result gives Al-Shabab their first league victory, while Al-Taawoun remain 17th with 3 points.
