Darko Brasanac will be Jagoba Arrasate’s assistant coach at Osasuna. The former club player is beginning his coaching career after bringing his playing career to an end. He will reunite with Arrasate, under whom he played during his time at the Navarre club.
The appointment is the main change to the staff that will work with Arrasate in his second spell in charge of Osasuna’s first team. Brasanac, 34, is returning to Pamplona for the role. His knowledge of Osasuna and its surroundings is set to shape the start of his coaching career at the club.
Bittor Alkiza will serve as assistant coach. Physical preparation will once again be led by Sergi Pérez, who is returning to Osasuna with Pablo Iriarte as his assistant. Pérez had previously been in charge of that area, with Iriarte alongside him.
One position remains to be filled to complete Arrasate’s staff: that of analyst.
