Javi López and Mikel Goti both scored for their loan clubs over the weekend, with each goal helping secure a win. Left-back Javi López is playing in the Netherlands, while Mikel Goti is in Segunda. Real Sociedad is keeping a close eye on their performances as both players grow in importance to their coaches.
Javi López started for Feyenoord and played the full match in a 2-0 victory over AZ, a consistently tough opponent in the Eredivisie. His goal came in a result that also reflected his growing role in the side.
Mikel Goti, meanwhile, made his mark on the holiday Monday matchday in Liga Hypermotion. Real Oviedo beat Eibar 3-1 to climb to ninth place. Goti, a midfielder on loan from Real Sociedad, was one of the players to influence the win: starting for the third consecutive match, he opened the scoring in the second minute.
The goals give both players encouraging markers with their respective teams, while Real Sociedad continues to monitor their progress.
