Salah has set a new record with Trabzonspor, taking his total to 12 attacking contributions through goals and assists since joining the team. The Egyptian forward has quickly become a significant presence in the Turkish club’s attack, both finishing moves and creating goals.

His latest contribution was a goal and an assist in Trabzonspor’s 4-2 victory over KuPS in the UEFA Conference League. The performance brought his tally to 12 and extended a run that underlines his influence in the team’s attacking play.

Salah had also reached 10 attacking contributions in seven matches, a pace that made him the fastest player to reach that total in the history of the Turkish first division since detailed statistics began to be recorded. He has now moved beyond that mark with Trabzonspor, although the previous record beyond 10 contributions is not specified.

Last summer, Salah left Liverpool in England as a free transfer after nine seasons at the club. He scored 257 goals in 442 matches there, putting him third on Liverpool’s all-time scoring list. His new Trabzonspor record adds another chapter to a career already marked by substantial attacking output, this time in Turkish football.
