The former Leeds coach says everyone knew about City’s alleged financial rule-breaking and is calling for a severe punishment.

Bryce Young’s Panthers beat the Lions in an NFL game, defeating Detroit 32-26 in the season’s fourth week. The win was built on an effective offense led in part by Young and Chuba Hubbard. The result leaves Carolina and Detroit with two wins and two losses after four games.
Detroit opened the scoring with a Jake Bates field goal, but Hubbard put the Panthers ahead with a rushing touchdown. Carolina then extended its lead on a Young touchdown pass to Tetairoa McMillan and a Ryan Fitzgerald field goal. The Lions went into halftime level at 16-16 after two Bates field goals and a Jahmyr Gibbs touchdown.
In the third quarter, Young found McMillan again to put Carolina back in front. After a Bates field goal brought Detroit closer, Hubbard scored his second rushing touchdown of the game to restore some breathing room for the Panthers. The Lions kept the contest alive, however: Jared Goff led the offense 67 yards over 10 plays before throwing a touchdown pass to Sam LaPorta to make it 26-32. The rally fell short.
Young finished with 329 passing yards and two touchdown passes. Hubbard ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns, while McMillan gained 192 receiving yards and caught two passes in the end zone. That offensive production allowed Carolina to hold on despite Detroit’s late response.
