Maghreb de Fès and Raja play out a goalless draw

Maghreb de Fès and Raja ended their match goalless, drawing 0-0 on Thursday evening at the Stade d’honneur de Meknès in the third round of the professional football championship. The result leaves Maghreb de Fès top of the standings on 7 points, with Raja fifth on 4.

Maghreb de Fès took the initiative in the first half, launching repeated attacks but failing to convert its chances. Raja adopted a cautious approach. Its task became harder in the 36th minute, when Othmane Chraïbi was sent off following an intervention against Abdellah Khafifi, a Maghreb de Fès defender.

Despite having the numerical advantage, Maghreb de Fès could not find a way through. The pressure continued after the break, with attacks aimed at taking the lead. Raja dropped deeper and tightened its defensive shape, but the score remained unchanged. The match ended without a winner, leaving both sides with a point, while Maghreb de Fès retained top spot.
