The national karate team delegation has arrived in Poland ahead of the junior and youth world championships. Preparations also extend to the 2026 under-21 world championships, where Egypt’s champions hope to compete strongly and add to the country’s international karate record.

Forty athletes, women and men, will take part in the events. They head into the championships aiming for podium places and to continue the success of Egyptian karate in continental and international competitions.

The delegation is accompanied by Mohamed El-Dahrawy, president of the Egyptian Karate Federation and a member of the executive boards of the international and African federations. Invited by the International Federation, he will attend executive-board and general-assembly meetings. He will also follow the national team’s events and the progress of Egypt’s champions.

Sayed Nasr, vice-president of the Egyptian and African karate federations, leads the delegation. Preparations are continuing with the aim of achieving results that do Egypt proud.

The 2026 championship in Poland also brings high hopes: the athletes are expected to show strong technical form and turn their preparation and effort into medals and new achievements on the world podiums.
