Adem Zorgane is among the players attracting interest from a major European club. That club is AC Milan, while the 26-year-old Algerian defensive midfielder remains under contract with Union Saint-Gilloise until the summer of 2029. The Milan interest has been reported, but it is not an announcement of an agreement or completed transfer.
Zorgane’s profile brings to mind another Algerian who played in the same position for the Italian club. Between the summers of 2019 and 2026, AC Milan had Ismaël Bennacer, also an Algerian international, in its ranks. Zorgane’s current market value is estimated at 12 million euros.
The Algerian international has also been described as one of the options available to Milan’s management to replace Luka Modrić. The Croatian playmaker is due to leave the team next summer. Zorgane’s technical ability has been praised in the report, but no decision by the club or concrete progress towards signing him has been announced.
For now, the midfielder remains at Union Saint-Gilloise. He missed Sunday evening’s Belgian league match against Louvain after returning injured from the Greens’ training camp. His absence comes as his future is being discussed, but his existing contract remains in place.
