Paris Saint-Germain won 4-2 away to Manchester City on Wednesday night in the Champions League, passing its first real European test of the season. The performance convinced Christophe Dugarry, who said PSG are “much stronger than any other team”.
Speaking on « After Foot » on RMC, Dugarry singled out Paris’s first half, describing it as “stunning” and “fantastic”. He also called Manchester City “unbalanced” in the match, while praising the strength of Paris Saint-Germain.
The former France international said the Paris side could deliver when the stakes are highest, despite what he sees as modest performances since the start of the season. His praise follows another PSG win in the Champions League: in the competition’s opening match of the 2026-2027 season, Paris beat Slovan Bratislava 6-1. It was the team’s second consecutive victory in the competition, and it remained top of its group.
Paris Saint-Germain are expected to face FC Barcelona at the Parc des Princes next Tuesday. The fixture, the team’s third match of the season, will offer another opportunity to assess the strength of the Paris side.
