Fàbregas praises Hadj Moussa after Feyenoord beat Como

“We don’t have a player like him at Como,” Cesc Fàbregas said of Anis Hadj Moussa after Feyenoord beat Como 3-2 in the Champions League. The Algeria international scored once and contributed to another goal, playing a direct part in his Dutch side’s result.

Fàbregas offered no excuses for Como’s defeat. He acknowledged that Feyenoord had been the better side, particularly in the second half. The coach also pointed to the atmosphere created by supporters, saying it can give teams an additional advantage in European competitions.

The coach described Hadj Moussa as an exceptional player capable of making a difference in matches of this kind. The winger’s display continued a productive start to his Dutch league campaign: he has scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist in 7 appearances. His individual skill, ability to break through defences and threat in front of goal are contributing to his growing influence at Feyenoord.

After his move to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia fell through during the summer transfer window, Hadj Moussa appears to have moved past the setback and is focused on performing for Feyenoord. Fàbregas’s praise adds to the signs of the player’s progress and his impact in European competition, as expectations grow around his next decisive performances.
