The local organising committee for the 2027 Saudi Arabia Asian Cup has confirmed that preparations to host the tournament are continuing in coordination with the Asian Football Confederation and the parties concerned. The Asian Cup Committee says the work is proceeding according to schedule.

In a statement published on Thursday, the committee outlined work under way on facilities, equipment and related services, alongside other organisational and operational tasks. Its stated aim is to provide a complete experience for participating national teams, supporters and media arriving from across the continent.

The tournament is due to take place from January 7 to February 5, 2027. Preparations are being carried out in ongoing coordination with the Asian Football Confederation and the parties concerned. The committee also says it will continue its work and mobilise the resources needed to deliver an event befitting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ambitions as a host.
